Warmly pointed out that the Yanwei and Haiyang Xin'an ultra-high-voltage power transmission projects bear the critical responsibility of supporting China's major national strategies, ensuring energy security in Shandong Province, and driving the country’s green, low-carbon transformation. Since the projects were launched, thanks to the concerted efforts of all parties involved, significant progress has been made in the preliminary stages. Currently, Construction work has fully commenced. To strengthen organizational leadership and ensure efficient collaboration, local governments along the route should enhance civil coordination, while construction entities must strive to deliver high-quality projects, advancing engineering work with both top-notch standards and optimal efficiency. At the same time, we must adopt a long-term perspective, systematically promoting the high-quality development of Shandong’s ultra-high-voltage grid—providing robust support for the province’s economic and social growth.
Pan Jingdong pointed out that the Shandong Provincial Party Committee and the provincial government have consistently placed great importance on ultra-high-voltage construction, providing comprehensive support in various aspects such as policies and organizational arrangements. The Yanwei Project is the world’s first ultra-high-voltage nuclear power grid integration project, holding significant demonstration and leadership value. State Grid Corporation has placed the Yanwei Project under direct headquarters management, proactively planning and undertaking extensive preparatory work well in advance. He emphasized that the project has now entered its full-scale construction phase. All departments and units under State Grid, as well as all participating construction entities, must deeply understand the significant importance of the Yanwei Project. They should actively collaborate with government agencies to tackle key challenges jointly, working together to effectively address bottlenecks and complex issues. Additionally, they should proactively plan and organize critical milestones, ramp up resource allocation, continuously strengthen safety and quality management, and make every effort to ensure the project is completed on time, delivered with high quality, and ready for operation.
Lin Yifan stated that State Grid Shandong Electric Power will thoroughly implement the deployment requirements of the Shandong Provincial Party Committee and Provincial Government, as well as those of the State Grid Corporation, rising to the challenges, tackling tough tasks head-on, and firmly ensuring on-site safety "without a single flaw," guaranteeing construction quality "excellence achieved on the first attempt," and securing that the project schedule "is met at all costs."
Before the meeting, attendees visited the Haiyang West Switch Station to conduct an on-site inspection of the station's construction progress. Company assistants, deputy chief engineers, and heads from relevant departments and units participated in the event.
